Join an experienced occupational therapist for a practical session focused on resilience. This is a session for both our kids and ourselves as parents. This workshop will explore how we can help our children manage everyday challenges, build coping skills, and grow through difficult moments, whilst also getting better at our own adaptability and looking after ourselves as parents along the way!  You’ll walk away with simple, everyday strategies to support your child through big feelings, setbacks, in a way that feels realistic and achievable for family life.
  • This ticket is for the Well-being Seminar – Raising resilient kids: helping children to struggle well, in the School Hall on Monday 3rd August  2026
  • 6pm for 6.30pm start, 1 hour seminar with time after for questions.
  • This seminar is being presented by Sarah Cavallero, Paediatric Occupational Therapist. (see below for more detail)
  • Adults Only Event – All Parents and Carers Welcome.
  • Given the available time, the session will take a broad approach with shared learning outcomes.  For parents needing further support or specific guidance, referral pathways and options will be made available at the end of the evening.

Sarah Cavallero is a Paediatric Occupational Therapist who is mental health accredited, she brings extensive years of professional experience working with children and families. 

Sarah OT is passionate about working collaboratively with families to support child development, emotional well‑being, and participation in everyday life. Her approach is strengths‑based and practical, focusing on achievable strategies that can be used consistently at home and in school settings.
