Well-Being

Our P&C Wellbeing Working Group is all about helping families feel connected, supported and part of our school community. We want to make it easier for parents to get to know each other, share the ups and downs of parenting, and access practical ideas that support emotional health and wellbeing at school and home.

Here’s how we focus on supporting wellbeing in our school community:

Supporting parents to connect with the school

  • We help parents find simple, natural ways to engage both within their year level and across the school.

Creating opportunities for relaxed connection

  • Our Collective Crew gatherings offer an easygoing, welcoming space for parernts and other family members to meet, chat and feel part of the community.

Hosting guest speakers and parent discussion groups

  • We invite guest speakers to share helpful insights and answer questions on topics that matter to our community as parents or carers.
  • We run casual, practical discussion sessions on real‑life parenting topics that equip us with tools to use at home day to day to support the well being of parents, children and families.

If you’d like to join the Wellbeing Working Group or want to know more, we’d love to hear from you.

New for 2026 ‘Collective Crew’

📍 OSHC, Payne Rd SS, Kernel St

🕘 Weekly 9–11am (check socials for dates) https://www.facebook.com/PayneRoadPandC

☕ Drop in anytime Collective Crew is a relaxed, community-oriented space for our school families & community to connect after drop-off.

It’s a casual drop-in opportunity to stay on school grounds, enjoy a coffee and morning tea, have a chat, and let younger children play in the OSHC space. There’s also room to get creative, with some optional crafting and activities for those who are inclined — or simply come along to catch up and connect. Everyone is welcome. Collective Crew is run by our wonderful Wellbeing P&C volunteers and is part of a grassroots effort to strengthen our school community and provide a place for those who have some time during school hours to feel connected and involved as part of the Payne Road crew.

See you there.
